Young Professionals’ Network

The Club’s Young Professionals’ Network (YPN) is a forum in which junior professionals from member businesses and organisations can develop their networking skills, acquire a wider range of business contacts at an early stage in their careers and help accelerate our vision for Midtown.

YPN events are included for all member businesses and organisations within the annual MBC membership fee. As such, the YPN reflects Midtown’s broad economic base with legal, professional, media and not-for-profit sectors all represented.  Members meet quarterly for informal networking and skills development events.

The MBC YPN Committee is responsible for organising YPN events, working closely with the Club’s Board.

Objectives

  • Create a safe environment in which young professionals can learn and practise networking skills

  • Assist young professional to develop lasting and productive business contacts from an early point in their careers

  • Have fun to inspire members to continue their networking journey

Strategy

To ensure that the MBC YPN is representative of all business sectors within MBC, the MBC YPN will be administered by a Committee of six persons from as many sectors as possible. The Committee will arrange monthly presentations on a range of topics and informal networking events aimed at supporting members, aiding their professional development and accelerating the Club's Vision for Midtown.
