Kindly hosted by Thomas Carroll
Why Successfully Focusing On Wellbeing Makes Business Sense
Work is a huge part of our lives, so let’s make it as fulfilling as possible. It’s even more vital today that we keep it fulfilling, addressing mental health at work and at home. It’ll make us money too. It’s said that 12% of GDP or around £225 billion a year is generated by working folk with or have had mental health problems. Addressing mental health issues at work will help us recover from the pandemic. A toxic work environment will slow us down. There is strong evidence that workplaces with high levels of mental wellbeing are more productive. Address wellbeing at work and productivity grows by as much as 12%.
This session, hosted by Thomas Carroll’s Stephanie Powell, Health & Safety Consultant and Tom Bevan, Protection and Employee Benefits Consultant, will explore how Members can better prepare for return to work and to take a proactive and preventative approach to mental wellbeing.
