Philanthropy today at the Foundling Museum
Join us for an exclusive networking breakfast celebrating how today’s philanthropists are bringing new life to the work of the Foundling Hospital, the first Charity in the World. We will have a private viewing of this Summer’s hit exhibition there, showcasing Dame Jacqueline Wilson’s successful Hetty Feather books, stage show and BAFTA-nominated TV series.
For her Foundling Fellowship at the Museum, Wilson developed the character of Hetty, a girl who uses imaginative storytelling or as she calls it ‘picturing’, to deal with life’s challenges. Surrounded by props and costumes from the television series as well as previously unseen treasures from the Foundling Hospital’s Collection, this immersive event will help us to picture the lives of foundling children and appreciate the support the Hospital continues to give.
