KEYNOTE FROM JAMES SPROULE, UK CHIEF ECONOMIST AT HANDELSBANKEN UK
A seemingly never-ending storm of international events – responding to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, preventing further economic fragmentation, maintaining global liquidity, managing debt distress, tackling climate change and ending the pandemic, just head the list. Global growth is projected to slow from an estimated 6.1% in 2021 to 3.6% in 2022 and 2023*. The question is what do we do at home? According to our keynote speaker James Sproule, UK Chief Economist at hosts Handelsbanken UK and a recent Senior Business Adviser to PM Boris Johnson, now is the time for caution not panic in the UK.
Join us for what will be a special MBC networking event.
