A to B advice for young professionals looking to grow
We’re always making some kind of an impact at work but if you want to improve the impression you make to achieve recognition, gain opportunities and relate better to colleagues then this event is for you. We’ve real-world advice from two expert speakers to help you to come to life in the office, beyond your qualifications on paper. Create your own personal brand, learn how to improve your communication skills and the way you interact as part of a team as well as how to move to a new one. The advice will resonate with all young professionals.
Katherine Cousins learned the hard way. Katherine is a three-year qualified Solicitor, in practice locally, who’s experiences led her to publish a no-holds-barred book ‘Successful Solicitor: Get Ahead of the Game as a Junior Corporate Lawyer.’
She’ll be joined by Ian Roberts, Managing Director of NQSolicitors.com, who’ll set-out what you’ll need to consider when either applying for positions within the firm you are training at or at another.
It’s all about making an impact! As always, we’ll be rounding off the evening with great contacts over a few drinks and networking.
6 – 8.30 pm
