UNIQUE ONLINE NETWORKING EVENT WITH Q&A
We’re emulating our ‘in person’ events using the REMO platform, bookending our keynote presentation with networking. Guests will receive an attendee list in advance. Turn up whenever you like. You’ll find guests ‘sat’ at tables. You can check out whose already at any table and join any conversation. Those on your table become your group video chat. Jump over to another table at anytime. Network like you’re in the room! And stay just as long as you need to.
Sir Keir Starmer QC MP will present to us at 1 pm. Sir Keir is our MP for Holborn & St Pancras and is of course, Leader of the Opposition. Sir Keir became a barrister in 1987 at the Middle Temple. He was a member of Doughty Street Chambers from 1990 and appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2002. In the same year, he became joint head of Doughty Street Chambers. In 2007, he was named ‘QC of the Year’ by Chambers and Partners and a year later, named as the new Head of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and Director of Public Prosecutions. He entered Parliament in 2015 and served as Shadow Minister of State for Immigration, before becoming Shadow Brexit Secretary.
