Improving Midtown's connectivity with South Bank, West End and Covent Garden
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL
Ambitious plans to transform the Strand Aldwych hub into a world-class cultural and learning quarter have recently taken a significant step forward after receiving strong support in a public consultation. Many members commented.
As an iconic orbit in Midtown, the area is home to cultural, educational and creative institutions as well as many member businesses, however, it so clearly suffers from significant challenges – poor public spaces, safety issues, traffic congestion and bad air quality.
We’ve set-up a timely discussion with some of the key players. Ruth Duston OBE OC, Chief Executive, Northbank BID and Andrew Hicks, Chairman, Northbank BID Board and Estate Director for Covent Garden at Capital & Counties Properties PLC (Capco), will be joined by host Alastair Moss, Partner, Co-Head of Real Estate at Memery Crystal and Chair of the Planning and Transportation Committee at the City of London.
